Karl says ‘Observing personality and lifestyle is key to successful hair design’.
With an original pursuit in graphic design, this took him to the UK, but instead it was here that hairdressing began. Working alongside both European and British hairdressers a visual and tactile but defined and precise technique was honed.
Karl has now been a hairdresser by trade for 30+ years and owned his own salon for the past 21 years.
Today Karl’s not only an internationally renowned hairdresser but an accomplished photographer. He says “I always wanted to produce my own images to display in the salon, pictures without sponsors /advertising logos etc.
I wanted them to be ours, so I pursued the photography avenue and in doing so, along with hair design. I have really come to love the craft of creating images”.
